Welcome all to my little corner of the Ludic Lounge!

My name is John Soares, and I'll be a Guest Contributor on all things Book related.

I hold a BA in English and have been a lifelong avid reader, reading over 2000 books and doing some critical writing, though this will be my first foray in getting this type of writing out in public.

My purpose here is to do some deep dive critical analysis on some of the things I read, giving you some looks into all kinds of text, from fiction to nonfiction, from Arrakis to New Frontiers.
